India Internet Governance Forum 2023

The third edition of the India Internet Governance Forum was held in New Delhi on 5 December 2023. The theme of the forum this year was ‘Moving Forward: Calibrating Bharat’s Digital Agenda’.

Anita Gurumurthy took part in the event, where she highlighted the need to address two critical divides in order to accelerate India’s digital agenda: the digital divide in meaningful access, and the development divide in the data paradigm.

The India Internet Governance Forum is associated with the UN Internet Governance Forum (UN-IGF), serving as a multi-stakeholder platform for representatives to discuss public policy issues related to the internet.
