Anita Gurumurthy's Key Note at the Seventh International Conference on Communities and Technologies

Anita Gurumurthy, Executive Director, IT for Change, was invited to deliver a keynote address at the Seventh International Conference on Communities and Technologies (C&T 2015), hosted from 27-30 June, by the University of Limerick, Ireland and co-sponsored by the Journal of Community Informatics. This biennial meeting serves as a forum for stimulating and disseminating research on the complex connections between communities – both physical and virtual – and information and communication technologies. In her note, Anita focused on analysing the interplay between “the appropriation by communities of a new techno-social democratic fabric and its inescapable imbrication in the warp and weft of the very politics of the technological commons”.
