Panel on Data Governance at the SKOCH Public Policy Forum

IT for Change was present at the the Public Policy Forum & Public Policy LITFest organised by the SKOCH Group. Speaking at a panel titled 'Data Governance at Crossroads', Anita Gurumurthy pointed out that all discussions on data governance must start by recognising data as a 'resource ecosystem', rather than as a commodity. Data governance is essentially about balancing multiple clams on data, including that of data principals, data collectors and the public interest claim on data.
